Specializes In Relationships
Mitch Mitch has worked with LifeBites as a workshop facilitator and has written articles for the life topics. Mitch Newman is known as The Relationship CoachSM, helping people to create value-filled relationships that enrich every aspect of their life. His unique, inside-out, whole person approach to creating authentic, sustainable personal and professional relationships has been highly effective with a list of high-profile clientele, including celebrities, professional athletes, entrepreneurs and corporate executives looking to learn how to communicate more effectively and provide a boost to their existing relationships.
A key component of his work is the focus on inaccurate internalized belief systems and how they prevent people from realizing their highest potential. Newman believes that problems are often more about perception than reality and prove to be breakthrough moments in people's lives. His work encourages people to look at their current state of relationships, examining their own communication style, their skill sets in resolving conflict and how they language what they need to support themselves.
As a Coach for John Gray’s company, Mars/Venus, Newman quickly learned that relationships in any form require creating a level of mutual value between parties and for individuals to understand their roles and personal responsibility in every interaction. With greater understanding and awareness, new communication skills are then incorporated that positively impact clients’ relationships at home, with friends and family, and at work. Business clients often witness that as individuals soar so do their profits!
Before returning to school and realizing a twenty-year dream in achieving his Masters degree in Psychology, Newman was an award-winning writer in TV and film. A short film he co-wrote and co-produced in 1993 garnered numerous national and international awards for the story of a man reconnecting with the spark that once made him unstoppable. Newman's understanding of character, dialogue and script has been a great support system for his work, helping clients to understand how their own "story" can block them from the success they desire.
Newman continues to give back through volunteering and mentoring with a variety of organizations and has served as an academic program reader for Masters Degree psychology students. He is an active member of his Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), working in conjunction with the Beverly Hills Fire Department. He earned his B.A. in Communications and holds a Masters Degree in Psychology. Home is his wife, Wendy, daughter, Alexa, and their eighty-pound lap dog, Charly. They reside in Beverly Hills, California.
