The LifeBites Team
NINA BOSKI
Founder and Host
At the age of 17, Nina Boski started her career as a Disc Jockey. By the age of 21, she was a top 40 DJ in Los Angeles. From there she went onto host and produce videos for cable TV networks. Eventually, Nina expanded into promotions, marketing and television advertising, creating packages for cable networks. She was employed by The Box Music Cable Network (MTV2), a division of Viacom, Inc. and became responsible for the entire west coast sales and development of all the entertainment business from the creation of movie segments to advertising deals. Throughout the years, Nina has always maintained a passion and commitment to her personal growth and encourages others to do the same! By bridging lifestyle and entertainment, she started her own multimedia company, LifeBites Media, (LBM). LifeBites initially aired as a radio show, and has evolved into the launch of www.lifebites.com, syndicated radio segments, and video segments airing in Loews Theaters, Border’s Books and Music, Carl’s Jr., Suncoast Video, Musicland, and www.elle.com, branded merchandise sold in retails stores, along with TV segments that have aired on WE, The Hallmark TV Channel as well as LIME Media targeting the GREEN lifestyle. The goal of the company is to cross-promote across all media.
Nina resides in Los Angeles, where she consults and teaches clients how to bring positive energy into their lives. She is known as the “Energy Coach,” and works with executives to athletes to everyday people and teens who want to improve the quality of their life. Nina’s approach is very practical. She uses a combination of east meets west techniques. “There is a lot of power between the two cultures. One is not better than the other. It’s all about integrating and balancing your life. I find these two approaches really help my clients – By using practical methods in building your goals and dreams (west), with helping you release blocks, known as your energy centers or chakras (east), I don’t just get people talking about their dreams, I get them living it!”
LifeBites was created to give people accessible, entertaining and stimulating products and services to get them to “thinking about their lives!” LifeBites’ motto is “Take A Bite Out of Life, Before Life Takes a Bite Out of You!”
MONI WOOD
Creative Director/Producer
Moni is a writer and producer recently transplanted from Ohio to LA, who is now thriving in the California sunshine.
In her production career she has assumed the role of the various hats that landed on her head from the passing Acme truck from coffee wrangler to assistant director. Her past credits in Ohio include regional and national political commercials, local television programs and various student films.
A graduate from The Ohio State University (and yes, the THE is officially part of the name), Moni also spent some time working at Ohio State as a program coordinator and student advisor for the History of Art department and most recently for the College of Engineering, where she was the communications assistant and special events coordinator as well as a contributing writer for their popular News in Engineering magazine.
While in Ohio, Moni was a docent and seasonal educational associate for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. At the zoo, she taught visitors about the importance of conservation and habitat preservation.
Moni is thrilled to be part of the LifeBites team and is excited at the new directions the company is taking this year. When not working at LifeBites, she enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, Zumba and hanging out with husband and two cats. She is also an addicted TV watcher and is tickled pink when she comes across a filming location of one of her favorite shows when driving around the Cali area.
And being in LA, she is, of course, working on her screenplay.
Her LifeBite? Try to find a little moment of peace every day. Whether it is enjoying flowers in a garden, watching a sunset or spending time with people that make you smile. Just take a bit of time to unplug and reconnect each day. And… well…a piece of really good chocolate isn’t bad either.
ROBBI SPENCER
Audio Engineer/Music Associate Producer
Robbi has worked professionally in the entertainment industry for seven years. Coming from a music background, she is not only a producer, but also an accomplished singer/songwriter. Robbi has had music licensed on such television shows as the CW’s hit show The Game, ABC Family’s Lincoln Heights, and MTV’s Life of Ryan. To further develop her engineering and production endeavors, Robbi attended and graduated from the Los Angeles Recording School, with a curriculum focus on both music/live-sound production, and film/television post-production. As an engineer, she has had the honor of working as an editor at Remote Control Productions under the guise of renowned film composer, Hans Zimmer, on his impressive sound library.
Robbi started Arje Music/Robbi Spencer Productions LLC, both independent production and licensing companies, where she composes and produces for new up-and-coming recording artists. As an artist, Robbi independently released her debut CD Speak 2 Me, in the latter part of 2007, to well received reviews and has been featured on such Jazz & R&B/Soul sites such as SoulTracks.com and MilesJazzCafe.com. The video for her single, He’s A Man received airplay on BET’s BET Late, and won The New Music Video Awards (UK). On this project, Robbi not only displayed her talents as a composer/vocalist, but also as a producer and engineer. Additionally, Robbi’s served in the US Air Force as a computer systems engineer, and is a former NFL cheerleader for the (amazing) Cincinnati Bengals…don’t laugh, they try really hard!
With Nina Boski and the LifeBites family, Robbi handles the engineering and music production of the radio/podcast segments for the Life Inspired series. As LifeBites continues to flourish, she looks extremely forward to helping Nina get her motivational and positive messages heard. While it is not often we are afforded the opportunity to work with amazing people and professionals, working with LifeBites is definitely one of those rare treats!
What is Robbi’s LifeBite? When you know better, do better…your only true accountability is between you and God!
TINKERBELLE
Inspiration Director
Tinkerbelle became the Inspiration Director last year when we realized here at LifeBites this is her life calling. Whenever Tinkbelle goes out in public, she spreads magic and light, just like the Disney character that shares her name. Her role at LifeBites is to ignite a little inspiration when we have had a difficult day or when need a little boost to get those creative juices going. Getting a kiss hello from Tinkerbelle can make your day.
Aside from her busy career schedule at LifeBites, Tinkerbelle’s activities include playing with kids, letting the seniors get in a pet or two, visiting hospitals and rehab facilities and bringing smiles to everyone who comes in contact with her bundle of joy! However, a big part of her day involves rigorous playing in the park and walking her owner!
We love Tinkerbelle not only because she provides inspiration, but also because she is just her wonderful doggy self!
Tinker’s LifeBite for you? “Be sure to spend time with the one you love, and be sure to play everyday. I do!”
Feel free to email Tinkerbelle if you need a hello or a little inspiration. She would love to hear from you.
