“THE SOLOIST”

LifeBites Host Nina Boski recently sat down with the members of the upcoming movie, “The Soloist,” to talk about the real story and real issue highlighted in powerful film.

Click below to see Nina’s exclusive interviews with Jamie Foxx, Director Joe Wright, Journalist Steve Lopez and Robert Downey Jr.

From the director of the Academy Award-nominated “Atonement,” Joe Wright, and staring Oscar winner Jamie Fox and Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr., comes this poignant and ultimately soaring tale. It is based on an incredible true story of a disenchanted journalist’s odyssey through the hidden streets of Los Angeles, where he discovers and builds a most unlikely friendship with a man from those same streets, bonding though the redemptive power of music.

In “The Soloist,” journalist Steve Lopez (Downey) discovers Nathaniel Anthony Ayers (Foxx), a former classical music prodigy, playing his violin on the streets of L.A. As Lopez endeavors to help the homeless man find his way back, a unique friendship is formed, one that transforms both their lives.
